1. Bed:
The slant-bed CNC lathe is made of high-strength cast iron or steel materials to ensure rigidity and precision. The bed is designed as a slant-bed, usually with a bevel angle of 45 degrees to improve rigidity, processing flexibility and chip removal convenience. There are guide rails on the bed to support and guide the movement of other components.
2. Spindle box: The spindle box of the slant-bed CNC lathe contains the spindle and spindle motor, and the spindle is used to clamp and rotate the workpiece. The spindle motor usually uses a high-performance servo motor to provide large output torque, high speed and wide speed adjustment range. The spindle is hollow inside to facilitate the passage of long workpieces.
3. Feed system: The feed system of the slant-bed CNC lathe includes X-axis and Z-axis, which are used to control the feed movement of the tool in the horizontal and vertical directions. The feed system uses a high-precision pre-stretched ball screw, which is directly connected to the feed motor through a coupling, with no gap and high transmission rigidity, which can achieve high-precision processing.
4. Control system: The slant-bed CNC lathe adopts CNC control system to control the automatic processing process of the machine tool through programming. The control system can receive and interpret CNC programming instructions such as G code or M code to control the movement and processing operations of each axis of the machine tool. The control system has high precision and high reliability, which can realize efficient processing of complex parts.
5. Tool holder: used to install tools, usually equipped with a hydraulic turret with 8 stations or more. The tool holder can quickly change tools and improve processing efficiency.
6. Fixture: used to clamp the workpiece to ensure the stability and precision of the workpiece during the processing of the slant-bed CNC lathe. Hydraulic or pneumatic fixtures can be selected to adapt to workpieces of different shapes and sizes.
7. Lubrication and cooling system: The lubrication system is used to lubricate the various components of the slant-bed CNC lathe, reduce wear and friction, and increase the life of the machine tool. The cooling system is used to cool the cutting area, reduce the cutting temperature, and improve the processing quality and tool life.
8. Protective cover: installed around the slant-bed CNC lathe to protect the operator from cutting splashes. Semi-shielded or fully-shielded designs are available, depending on processing needs and safety requirements.
